# Race Report: Clonmore 10 Mile 2026

The Clonmore 10 Mile once again drew a strong turnout from clubs right across Armagh, Tyrone and beyond, with runners taking on the rolling country roads around Clonmore in what proved to be a fast, competitive race up front and a great day out further down the field.

## The Race

Adam Smyth (St Peters AC) took the win in a time of 54:13, holding off a determined chase from Andrew Annett (Mourne Runners), who crossed in 55:28 for second. Adam Boyd, running for local club Keep Er Lit, rounded out the podium in 58:31, with Francis Mc Daid (58:49) and Fearghal Delaney (Armagh AC) (59:50) completing the top five — all five inside the hour.

In the women's race, Michelle Corr (Galbally Runners) was first home in 1:05:07, finishing 21st overall. Elaine McGookin (KEL) took second in 1:06:21, with Eileen Stevenson (St Peter's A/C) completing the women's podium in 1:08:30.

## Club Turnout

Local outfit Keep Er Lit were the story of the day in terms of numbers, filling out a huge chunk of the top 60 finishers across both the men's and women's fields. Galbally Runners also had a big showing, with finishers spread from the top 15 right through the middle of the pack, while Armagh AC, Portadown Running Club, Glaslough Harriers and Orchard County Runners all had solid representation throughout the results.

A good number of unattached runners also took part, a reminder of how much local pulling power the Clonmore 10 Mile continues to have outside of club circles.

## Down the Field

With 167 finishers in total, the race stretched from Adam Smyth's sub-55 winning time out to a well-earned finish for Donna Donnelly (Orchard County Runners) in 1:57:57, closing out the results. In between, there were plenty of strong individual performances and season-best efforts across the board.
