🏃 Laganside 10K & Children's 1 Mile
📅 Sunday 6 September 2026 | 📍 Ormeau Park, Belfast
🕚 Junior Mile: 11:00am | 🕛 Laganside 10K: 12:00 noon
Organised by North Belfast Harriers, the Laganside 10K is a long-standing Belfast favourite, taking runners through Ormeau Park and along the scenic Ormeau Embankment beside the River Lagan — with plenty of spots for spectators to cheer on family and friends.
The course
Starting and finishing within Ormeau Park near the Ormeau Road entrance, the route heads out onto the Ravenhill Road and Albertbridge Road before joining the Lagan towpath towards Ormeau Bridge. Runners complete two laps of the towpath along the Ormeau Embankment before finishing back in the park.
Children's 1 Mile Fun Run
A fun, chip-timed 1-mile event for juniors aged 6–15. Under-8s (some years under-11s) must be accompanied by a responsible adult, and parents are welcome to run alongside younger kids. Every finisher gets a medal and a goody bag.
